Four Mile Historic Park: This place is an awesome and entirely preserved park that hosts several barns and cellars. It is a great spot for families and offers several activities that children will truly enjoy including: carriage rides, gold panning and seasonal pumpkin picking. Make sure that you take a guided tour of one of the oldest homes in the state while here: the Four Mile House.
Lakeside Amusement Park: Denver hosts nearly as many exciting amusement parks as Southern California boasts, making these parks must-see destinations when you travel here. This park is no different and boasts forty rides, including several famous roller coasters. There are some awesome rides that thrill seekers won't want to miss when here including: the Cyclone Roller Coaster, and the Miniature Steam Train that travels throughout the park. There are tons of different waterslides and several kid's areas, including the two most popular attractions here: Lazy River and Wally World; make sure to dive into the wave pool as well.
