Beaches: And after you have kissed the skies, you can let the waters lap your feet at the famous beaches of Copacabana or Ipanema. Surfing, jetski, beach volleyball, and a myriad of other activities are on round the clock at these beaches.

Amazon River: Once you have had enough of the civilized world, the Amazon awaits to share her beauty and unspoiled secrets. The Amazon is the world's largest rainforest and seeing the wild nature is a unique experience not to be found elsewhere. You may find river rafting and canoeing activities there apart from safaris and treks.

Islands: Off the shores of Rio there are many islands. There, diving through the clear blue waters, you will find the most exotic of marine life. The coral reefs will leave you enchanted and you may just end up believing a mermaid or two hide behind the next reef.

Football (soccer): Football is a national passion apart from just a sport. Chances are as you roam the streets of Rio, you will be able to join a game or two with the locals. When it's too dark to play football, you will find snooker games which run all night.
