Bermuda Maritime Museum: The Bermuda Maritime Museum is a blend of past and present sea faring buildings. Originally the fort was built to protect the Royal Navy Dockyard. After the shipyard was closed in 1995 the facility was turned into a focal point for tourism. Restoration of many buildings including the home of the commissioner, invite guests to wander through limestone passages, climb up the lookout towers and peek into the days of the Spanish Galleons.

Kid Programs: Motels and resorts cater to the younger traveler providing special kid oriented pools and water play areas. Some resorts have created sandy beaches in the shallow ends to allow your young child to experience the beach without the worry of being near the ocean.

Scaur Hill Fort: Scaur Hill Fort, long abandoned by the British Navy, sits high on a hill over looking the ocean and is now a park. Visitors will find the botanical landscaping and hands on exploration of this 1880's fort a wonderful way to learn about the past. Youngsters can pretend they are defending the fort from pirates as they scramble in and over the turrets and ramparts.

Warwick Pond: The smell of allspice and cedar fills the air at Warwick Pond. Surrounded by woods, this lake, which is the second largest fresh water lake on the island, is now linked to the Railway Trail.

Food and Drink: Whether your taste is for a cup of conch stew offered up by the local street vendor, a stop at a roadside restaurant for a taste of the local favorites, or dinner at one of the many resorts that provide a menu with international flair your taste buds are sure to be pleased.
